The much-anticipated Roast and Rhyme returns this Sunday 1st March at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo and will feature performances from dance hall artists A Pass Bagonza and John Blaq.
This 12th Edition of the event, as well as the first of 2020, dubbed the "Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam" is intended for the lovers of Reggae and Ragga music.
As such, the headliner singers A Pass and John Blaq will perform their hits with the aid of a live band and the event organizers – Swangz Avenue and Bell Jamz– have intimated that there will be two surprise acts.
Previous editions of Roast and Rhyme have featured performances by Jose Chameleon, Weasel, Winnie Nwagi, Vinka, Red Banton, Maurice Kirya and many more, all of which have added up to this becoming an event on the social calendar that should not be missed.
As usual, attendees will be free to carry their own grills and ingredients so they can set up their Nyama Choma, and new to this edition will be an open roasting area, which gives these revelers more space to go about their barbecuing in a spacious and secure environment.
