The Fountain of Honour H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will address the nation today at 4pm, in light of confirmation of eight new cases of COVID-19.
H.E the President is expected to announce new measures to forestall the spread of the virus.
President Museveni’s address today will be the fourth since Wednesday March 18th 2020.This was after Uganda confirmed a total of 9 cases of COVID 19, and these are all Uganda Nationals who traveled from Dubai.
President Museveni ordered for the closure of schools, religious and social gatherings as some of the measures to reduce the spread of the pandemic in the country the first time he addressed the nation.
In his second address on Saturday, President Museveni directed the closure of Entebbe International Airport and all borders leading into the country.
On Sunday, the President advised Ugandans to regulate their movements especially the public means and urged children from school not to loiter around.
