As the fallen General, Kasirye Ggwanga is set to be laid to rest today, drama has ensued as some prominent people have been blocked from attending the scientific burial.

The late General, who died on Tuesday this week will be laid to rest today (Friday) in Nkene Village, Mityana. The army directed that only a handful of people will attend burial.
Members of Parliament, Allan Ssewananya and Joseph Ssewungu were blocked from attending the burial ceremony.
The security team manning the ceremony said that the MPs’ names were not on the list of those invited to attend and therefore could not go as far as the security post.
The MPs resorted to begging the Minister of Works, General Katumba Wamala to talk to security to allow them to attend the burial ceremony.
It is reported that they were later allowed as several pictures show them sitting in the tents awaiting for the burial commence.
