Eddy Kenzo Mocks Bobi Wine Over Poor Performance In Youth Elections.
Musician Edrisah Musuuza has continued to sting his fellow musician turned politician, Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine). This time, he has blasted Bobi Wine for failing to perform excellently in the recently concluded youth elections.
In a recent social dossier published throughout his social media handles, the musician pointed out that Bobi Wine has managed to be coaxed into believing that social media likes, comments and shares are a depiction of reality and do not guarantee, in anyway victory in reality.
He emphasized that the youth vote, which dictates that voters should be below the maximum age of thirty five should serve as an example to Bobi Wine to show that social media is far from a sufficient depiction of real life support.
"In this day and age of social media and the enigmatic youth vote (is it below 25 or 35) it is humbling to accept that likes and retweets are not a reflection of real-life support. The youth elections that took place this week are a reminder of the difference between fact and fiction, as the saying goes: men lie, women lie but numbers don’t lie." Eddy Kenzo barked.
The youths recently busied themselves in the laborious exercise of electing their youth leaders at district level. It however saw the ruling National Resistance Movement winning most seats by a whopping 90 percent.
However, in response, the NUP chief lauded his fellow youth for managing to stand by him. He asserted that NUP had won most seats where they fronted candidates and NUP, being a new party, it is more than an excellent starting point.
