I Am Not Replacing Anyone, Salvador Clears Air On His Sanyu FM Job.

News that famed city comedian, Patrick Salvador had replaced Fat Boy at Sanyu FM following a pay cut strike have been dominating internet waves of recent.

Salvador is said to have landed in  James Onen's shoes who is also his close friend at the station. However, Patrick Salvador has defended himself alleging that as Sanyu FM ambassador, he is always there to help once called upon and his new duty at the station should not be seen as replacement for James Onen. "I’m not replacing anyone, I’m not trying to fill or fit in the shoes of anyone….. I have my own shoes, I’m just SITTING IN (Radio terminology).. Until the right team is identified….. My duty as a Ruparelia Group Ambassador is to help when called upon and I am free….. Hope this Puts some of your minds at rest. So if you think you are good, and have faith in yourself about being a good presenter or have experience in Radio Production …. the Opportunity has presented itself." Salvador said. Earlier this week, Sanyu FM staff have been striking over the decision by management to cut their pay by 25% owing to the current economic crisis. James Onen, who  is well known as Fat Boy announced his sacking after twenty one years at the station. He is revealed to have been the one  behind the sit down strike.
