Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga has called upon the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs to assist musician Eddy Kenzo to return home from Ivory Coast.
Kadaga and Kenzo
Ever since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Uganda, the musician has been stuck in Ivory Coast since Uganda is currently under lock down, allowing only the entry of cargo trucks. The Enttebbe airport is also closed.
Following a lamentation from the musician, saying that he misses his daughter Aamal Musuza, and wishes to see her before he dies, a number of fans have expressed sympathy with the home sick ‘tweyagale’ hit maker.
The Speaker must have empathized with him too, thus requesting the ministry responsible to assist the musician to return home.
