Kobe Bryant And His Wife Vanessa Had Vowed Never To Ride In A Helicopter, Close Source Affrims.

The late NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa Laine Bryant had a pact of never riding in a helicopter. A close source to the family 'name with held' told 'People magazine ' that the couple would never fly in a helicopter together, however reasons are not known yet.


"He and Vanessa had a deal that they would never fly on a helicopter together," a source told People. The source also added that Bryant would only ride in helicopters piloted by Ara Zobayan, who was among the seven others killed in the plain crash.

Kobe's wife Vanessa's heart was fully shattered into a million pieces when she learned that her husband, who is and will always be known as one of the greatest NBA players of all time, as well as their 13-year-old daughter, Gia. Kobe, who was only 41 at the time of his death, was reportedly traveling with four other people, including his daughter, Gia. Unfortunately, there were no survivors.


Kobe and wife Vanessa were first introduced when Vanessa was working as a background model on the set of a music video.


Kobe was 21 while Vanessa was 17 years old and still a senior at high school.Eight weeks before the tragic helicopter crash that ended his life, Kobe paid tribute to Vanessa on their milestone 20th anniversary.


"On this day 20 years ago I met my best friend, my Queen @vanessabryant I decided to take her on a date to Disneyland tonight to celebrate old school style (pre 4princesses) I love you my Mamacita per sempre," he wrote alongside a throwback picture of them.


Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, also known as GiGi, was a talented youth basketball player who regularly attended LA Lakers games with her father.The pair share three other daughters, Natalia and Bianca and their newborn Capri.
