People Power Fans Roast MP Nsereko Over Defending Zari Hassan.

The media has been awash with news of Ugandan socialite based in South Africa, Zari Hassan after her comments on People Power pressure group chief, Bobi Wine hit Ugandan airwaves.

Zari Hassan said that Ugandans should stop over supporting the musician cum politician all in the name of change. She also attacked People Power for being tribalistic and went ahead to question Bobi Wine's credentials that make him eligible for the country's top job.

When Fans started lashing at her following the offensive comments, Hon. Mohammed Nsereko, the Member of Parliament for Kampala Central defended her saying that she is expressing her freedom of speech and begged fans to stop what he deemed 'insulting' the socialite.

"Freedom of speech is a right. You cannot insult Zari Hassan for speaking her mind and then you rise up to say your fighting for human rights. All those insulting her are enemies of democracy and political cowards. You can argue your case without insulting Zari #mutujeko akajanja,” Nsereko said on his social media.

This generated a heap of insults on the legislator mostly from People Power die hards.

Some critics pointed out that Nsereko is merely seeking a clean path to bed with the mother of five.

" You just want to jump into her knickers thats why you are siding with her." commented a one, Mavin Tweke.

"Slide into her DM without becoming a useless guy from here....." another one fired.

"How can you have the audacity of blaming us?" wondered another commentator, Hannah Hailey. "Don't we have the right to express pur opinions on every view?..."

However, Bobi Wine, while appearing on a local radio station declined to comment on Zari''s backlash calling it something unimportant. He said he only answers questions relative to national urgency.
