Gorgeous model, actress and BBS Tv presenter Diana Nabatanzi has ventured into charity. On Women’s day, the sexy actress launched a charity campaign that will move around schools and give back to the less privileged girls.
While addressing the media, Diana said.
“Having been raised in a financially less privileged family, pursued a profession (Journalism) that’s largely accepted as a male dominated. I have seen and experienced a handful of challenges gone through by girls in Uganda before making it to success if they even make it” she noted.
She went ahead to reveal international facts about a girl child and noted that;
“The United Nations Girls’ Education Initiative (UNGEI) reported that more than 700,000 girls in Uganda between the ages of six to 12 have never attended school. In fact, around half of girls between the ages of 15 to 24 are illiterate and four in five girls do not attend high school. My campaign is a campaign to empower the Girl child, the Uneducated, Disabled, less privileged, orphans and women who are largely now the heads of most families” she noted.
