Musicians Weasel Manizo of Good life and Jose Chameleone of Leone Island have been directed to appear before the Audio Producers' Association Uganda (APAU) over accusations of torture and violence against producers Mr. Godie and Diggy Baur.
In a letter meant for the singers, who are also brothers, APAU expressed concern over the rising violence and brutality inflicted on it's members by upset singers over unclear reasons.
They have therefore appealed to the singers to appear before the Association so that negotiations can be held and find a way to stop the rising acts of violence.
"We, therefore, call upon Mr. Jose Chameleone and Mr. Weasle to contact Audio Producers Association Uganda (APAU) management through the contacts above for an arbitration meeting before 12th July 2020.
We urge the Good Life Management, the Mayanja family, Uganda Musician Association (UMA), TVs and Radio Stations, Uganda National Cultural Forum(UNCF) and all other sectors in the Entertainment industry, kindly carry the message on to our artists,” APAU's letter reads in part.
It should be noted that yesterday, Diggy Baur released videos in which he flaunted his injuries and claimed were inflicted on him by Chameleone.
Not long ago, Godie also pinned Weasel on accusations of assault and violence, something that raised concerns.
